Marc Howell received his BA from Texas Tech University. Marc has been a licensed Landscaper, Irrigator and Water Operator since 2001 in California and Texas. In 2021, Marc received his license as a Construction Contractor and Landscape Contract Professional & Business all phase with irrigation and back flow in the state of Oregon and has a certification from ARCSA-ASSE Rainwater Designer & Installer.

Marc has been a CEO for multiple companies and has over 20 years of experience in business, construction, irrigation, water distribution and Public Water Systems from concept design to government approvals to implementation. Marc is a potable water specialist with rainwater and atmospheric water systems and his bottled rainwater won Silver at the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting for best tasting still water in 2013 and won top 5 in the world for his still water in 2012 and 2014. Plants and landscaping lead Marc to water. Marc has a passion to bring the life of plants to his clients for sustenance and for natural beauty that bring about peace.

Marc is a water steward whose goal is to protect the world’s most precious resource. Water conservation, water education, sustainability and respect for water, plants and the natural world are the foundational principles of Water Sourcers.
